Thank you!
First of all, a huge thank you to everyone who has so far supported the Motherhood Uncensored book launch! Over two hundred people attended our launch events across Glasgow, Manchester, London and Leicester. It was great to meet so many contributing authors and see people making connections with each other, and also fantastic that there were so many people there who weren’t connected to any author but just interested in the project. If you helped organise, attended, read your work, took an open mic slot or spread the word amongst your networks then thank you so much! Collectively we are making more space for the nuanced conversations about motherhood that benefit us all.
I’ve put a few photos from the events on our website- I’d love to add more so do send photos to hello@motherhood-uncensored.org if you have any you’d like to share.
What’s coming up next?
Our next event is at Waterstones in Horsham, West Sussex on Thursday 8th May. We’re really excited that

ICYMI
We’ve recently published a poem by Evie Booton-Ford called ‘the Delivery’ about what she describes as the best and worst day of her life.
We’ve also published a reflection from Beckie Miller about adopting a child many years after having her biological children. Heads up, Beckie tragically lost one of her biological child, which this piece mentions.
As ever, do review our submission guidelines and get in touch if you would like to submit your own work.
And if you’re Sussex based…
